Welcome from Greg & Grace

Grace and I are the owners and directors of CELT – Centre for English Language Teaching, and have been running the language school since 1989.

We are both qualified EFL teachers, and have many years’ experience teaching English abroad and in the UK. Originally from San Francisco, USA, Grace is our Academic Director and started her teaching career in Italy. I am the Principal of the school and taught in Spain, France, and La Réunion (Indian Ocean) before returning to Cardiff to teach English at Cardiff University.

Cardiff is my hometown and, after returning here, I realised the huge potential of the city as a great destination for foreign students to come and learn English. That’s why we created our language school and became the first British Council accredited language school in the city.

As teachers, we care passionately about our students’ learning experience and do everything we can to ensure that students benefit fully from their time with us.
